Two Versions → What Changed

Everyday AI · Make small edits visible
A paragraph can look almost unchanged while its meaning shifts. AI can draft a change brief that pairs each claim with the old and new wording.
Try the demonstration
Choose a synthetic example, inspect its worked response, then edit the input to build your own prompt. Worked responses are prewritten, AI-authored illustrations, not live model results. The browser builds a prompt; run it in your chosen AI tool to get a fresh response.
Inputs stay in this page’s memory and are not sent to an AI provider or saved by this demo. Use invented or non-sensitive text. Copying a prompt to another service is a separate action.

What to check
Read both versions alongside the brief. Verify numbers, negations and qualifiers such as “may”, “must”, “proposed” and “subject to”.
This exercise demonstrates a useful way to ask for help, not a guarantee of model accuracy or measured time savings. The examples are invented. A person decides which findings are valid and what to do next.
Compare the earlier and revised versions. Identify substantive changes to dates, quantities, scope, obligations and conditions. For every finding quote both versions (or say Not present), explain the practical effect, and flag anything that needs confirmation. Distinguish a proposal from a confirmed commitment. Do not infer intent or claim legal significance. End with a short checklist for a human reviewer.

The first example’s input appears above. Its illustrative response is:
WHAT CHANGED • Date: “12 November” → “19 November”. The workshop moves seven days later; year is not stated. • Catering: “includes lunch” → “includes refreshments”. Lunch is no longer explicitly included; confirm what will be served. • Guests: “may bring one guest” → “must register guests in advance, up to one guest each”. The one-guest limit remains, with a new advance-registration requirement. The registration method and guest deadline are not stated. • Reply deadline: “5 November” → “9 November”. Responses are requested four days later. UNCHANGED The stated time is still 10:00–12:00. REVIEW CHECKLIST Confirm the year, catering, and guest-registration details before updating the invitation.
